Abstract
The authors' magnetic field density functional theory is extended to i nclude electron spin-dependent interactions. Coupling the new theory w ith traditional spin density functional theory in the local limit yiel ds a linear differential equation for the net spin density. The coeffi cients in the equation are functions of the electron density in the ab sence of a nuclear spin.
