Abstract
We present a case of a widely displaced double-column acetabular fract ure associated with lacerations of the ipsilateral common iliac artery and vein, resulting in a fatal hemorrhage. This case illustrates the importance of considering the possibility of a concomitant vascular in jury in the assessment of a patient with an acetabular fracture and ot herwise unexplained hemorrhage.
