Abstract
Report on prenatal sonographic diagnosis of an isolated, unilateral an ophthalmia. In the 27th week of gestation, unilateral anophthalmia wit hout associated malformations was demonstrated in a fetus with male ka ryotype. The boy was delivered at 39 weeks' gestation. Post partum eva luation confirmed prenatal diagnosis. The child is developing normally to date.
