Of. Shlenskii, PERMISSIBLE SUPERHEATING TEMPERATURES OF CONDENSED MATERIALS IN THERMODECOMPOSITION CONDITIONS, Combustion, explosion, and shock waves, 30(4), 1994, pp. 475-476
Contact methods of thermal analysis are used to determine the permissi
ble superheating temperature of condensed materials in conditions of t
hermodecomposition; these methods permit fast heating of the samples t
o the constant temperature at which isothermal testing is conducted. T
he results obtained for the limiting thermodecomposition temperatures
are given for some polymer and nonpolymer materials, and are compared
with literature data; the results indicate satisfactory accuracy of th
e test method.
