Abstract
The present paper studies the UV-VIS adsorption spectra of the M(X)HgI (4)(M(n+) = Ag+, Cu+, Tl+, Pb2+, Cd2+ and X = 1.2) complex combination s, specifying the electronic transition types. There is an agreement b etween the absorption bands of some combinations of this type, known f rom the literature, and those of the complex combinations prepared und er this paper.
