The paper studied the chemical resistance, under laboratory conditions
(i.e. hydrofluoric acid, pickling mixture, various concentrations chr
omium-plating baths, sea water, salty fog, low temperature tests), as
well as under natural or industrial conditions, for 4 types of reinfor
ced polyesters (i.e. 484T terephthalic, 495D and 495E bisphenolic, 450
H (ortho-phthalic), Grafinert - type impregnated graphite and pourabl
e sealing compound R2. Based upon the experimental results, the concen
tration, temperature and time range was established, therefore the res
pective anticorrosion materials utilization field.
