Abstract
The influence of methacrylic acid (A) dimerization in toluene on its c opolymerization with methyl methacrylate (B) was studied. it was estab lished that as a result of this influence the dependence of the config urational triad mole fraction on the monomer feed is non-linear, r(A)= 1.05+/-0.03, r(B)=0.05+/-0.02 and the experimental values of the alter nating ABA and BAB compositional triads are rather smaller than those calculated by the terminal model which does not take account of the di mer participation in the chain propagation.
