The nu(2) + nu(3) and associated hot bands of various isotopes of ClCN
have been measured with a resolution of 0.0026 cm(-1) using a Fourier
transform spectrometer. The wavenumbers of 4000 lines obtained from a
bsorption spectra of three different isotopic species are measured wit
h an accuracy better than 6 x 10(-4) cm(-1). Twelve bands of (ClCN)-Cl
-35-C-12-N-14, six bands of (ClCN)-Cl-37-C-12-N-14, and one band of (C
lCN)-Cl-35-C-13-N-14 were analyzed to obtain band origins, rotational
constants, and l-doubling constants. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
