Abstract
Mullite/zirconia composite materials were characterized in terms of el ectrical conductivities, structure and microstructure. It was found th at the conductivity assumes a minimum at about 10 mass% ZrO2, The high est conductivity was observed in the range of 60-100 mass% ZrO2. XRD s tudies have revealed that the tetragonal phase of zirconia assumes the highest concentration at 60 mass% ZrO2.
