Abstract
The Continental Quaternary deposits of semi-arid central Gujarat consi st of layered sequences of sediments of fluvio-marine, fluvial and aeo lian origin. The deposits occupy structural depressions which are boun ded by basement faults and provide an interesting record of neotectoni sm and climatic changes.
