Abstract
The syntheses and crystal structures of the following paratungstates-Z with different alkaline cations are reported and discussed: Na-10[H2W 12O42]. 20 H2O (I), Na-10[H2W12O42]. 27 H2O (II), Na-10[H2W12O42]. 28 H2O (III), K-10[H2W12O42]. 10 H2O (IV), K6Na4[H2W12O42]. 13 H2O (V), C s6Na4[H2W12O42]. 16 H2O (VI), Cs8Na2[H2W12O42]. 10 H2O (VII), Cs8Na2[H 2W12O42]. 12 H2O (VIII), K3Na7[H2W12O42]. 24 H2O (IX) and K8Na2[H2W12O 42]. 12 H2O (X). Priority has been set on the description of the coord ination of the cations with the oxygen ligands H2W12O4210- and H2O.
