Abstract
CRIEPI and EPRI have jointly developed PWR and BWR nuclear power plant models for medium- to long-term power system dynamic simulation studi es, which are being implemented for EPRI's and CRIEPI's long-term stab ility programs respectively. The models are extended versions of CRIEP I's previous one for short-term simulation. The models are useful in s imulating the plant dynamics taking into account responses of the plan t control and protection systems. The paper presents functional specif ication of the models, overall model description, newly included model s for medium- to long-term studies and sample simulation results.
