Abstract
Alloys of Cm-244 are prepared by high-temperature condensation of meta llic Cm vapors on Pt, Ir, and Ph substrates. The intermetallides Pt3Cm and Ir3Cm are observed in addition to known alloys in the Pt-Cm, Ir-C m, and Rh-Cm systems. New data are obtained on the x-ray amorphization of the lattices of the observed phases under the influence of Cm-244 alpha-decay.
