Abstract
The dynamics of the muonium (Mu) adduct to C-60 in the crystalline sta te have been investigated using avoided level crossing muon spin reson ance (ALC-mu SR). The motion of C-60 in the orientationally ordered ph ase (T < 260 K) is well described by a spherical diffusion or isotropi c jump-reorientation motion with an Arrhenius activation energy of 176 (1) meV and a frequency factor of 2.95(13) x 10(-12) s. This is in str iking contrast to the behaviour of MuC(70) adducts whose reorientation al motion fits well in a pseudo-static model with a temperature depend ent order parameter,
