Abstract
The introduction of crested wheatgrasses (Agropyron spp.) into North A merica to improve the carrying capacity of western rangelands resulted in unanticipated increases in the population levels of native black g rass bugs (lrbisia spp. and Labops spp.). The more than two hundred pu blications, reports, and theses listed in this annotated bibliography contain information on the systematics, biology, and ecology of the bu gs and management techniques for controlling and minimizing bug damage to these non-indigenous species of wheatgrasses.
