Abstract
Two new species are described, Stridulivelia ayacucho from the Territo rio Federal Amazonas of Venezuela and S. anta from Amazonas, Brazil. S tridulivelia nama (Drake 1957) is placed as a junior synonym of S. ter sa (Drake and Harris 1941) (new synonymy). Habitat and distributional data and maps are given for the South American species along with a ke y to species of the nominate subgenus Stridulivelia.
