Abstract
A technique to account for interference phenomena caused by the reflec tion of acoustic waves from a rough surface is proposed. It includes a simplified estimation of the wave field on the surface. The simplific ation relates the wave field to the surface parameters to solve the wa ve problem by a known method amenable to numerical computations close to the surface. Applications of this technique to estimate the noise i n extended acoustic antenna arrays are presented.
