Abstract
Chromosome numbers and comments for 8 taxa of the flora of Slovakia (C arex rupestris, Chimaphila umbellata, Conioselinum tataricum, Corydali s capnoides, Dentaria x paxiana, Jovibarba hirta subsp. tatrensis, Rho diola rosea, Sisymbrium strictissimum) are presented. Special attentio n was paid to the results of the karyological analyses of recently dis covered diploid populations of the Sisymbrium strictissimum group.
