Heating effect which arises due to high electron density (1012-1014 cm
-3) in surfatron plasma is investigated. The heat flow per unit length
of plasma column is measured and then the energy balance of plasma wa
veguide is calculated. This paper shows the gas heating effect on the
energy balance in surface wave sustained plasma column.
