Y. Sugasawa et al., STOCHASTIC PETRI-NET MODEL OF DISTRIBUTED PROCESS SYSTEM WITH REPAIR AND ITS BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS, Computers & industrial engineering, 27(1-4), 1994, pp. 501-504
Stochastic Petri Net is applied to model a shift processing system wit
h repair and of distributed processing configuration, in which the sta
tes of the modeled system can be defined with ease. Moreover, the beha
vior of the system can be identified more accurately by executing the
behavioral analysis of the system with distinction between regeneratio
n point and non-regeneration point in the context of a Markov Renewal
Process when making the state definition for the modeled system. The l
imiting probability of the mean first passage time to the initial stat
e in the system is obtained with the behavioral analysis of the system
. Finally, the behavior of the system from the normal state to the nex
t normal state is shown by introducing the Gamma distribution and the
exponential distribution as concrete firing time distributions of each
transition in the numerical example.
