Abstract
The magnetopolaron wave function and energy for resonantly coupled ele ctronic and vibrational excitations in a quantum well are derived and used to evaluate the efficiency of Raman scattering by two LO phonons. A strong increase of the scattering intensity along with the splittin g of Raman peaks is predicted in the magnetopolaron regime.
