Abstract
A method for solving the problem of surface/surface intersection in su ggested. This method uses an adaptive subdivision and a facetted model based on triangles. A bounding box and a different dividing method ar e newly developed. Instead of the calculation of the characteristic po ints, a new linking technique is developed. This method solves the int ersection problem between bicubic or higher grade surfaces. The desire d calculation-precision is specified by the input parameter.
