The electromagnetic topology approach is often used to calculate the c
urrent or voltage that can appear on a transmission line network illum
inated by a disturbing wave, However the lines are supposed to be para
llel to a ground plane and, furthermore, the model has often been appl
ied on canonical cases, In this paper, a generalization of this formal
ism to treat nonuniform transmission lines is presented, Moreover, by
treating a wiring installed inside a Transall airplane mockup, a compa
rison between theoretical and experimental results shows the validity
and the interest of this approach.
