Abstract
The change of the thermodynamic properties of liquid binary Sb-Zn allo ys with the addition of a third element, in this case copper, was dete rmined. The thermodynamic properties of the liquid ternary Cu-Sb-Zn al loys were measured with an electromotive force (emf) method at four cr oss-sections with a constant Cu to Sb ratio of 2:1, 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3, respectively. The integral thermodynamic quantities were derived from the emf data by Gibbs-Duhem integration.
