DISLOCATION VELOCITY EXPONENT AND DISLOCATION MULTIPLICATION DYNAMIC BIFURCATION

In this paper, we present a new viewpoint of the dislocation velocity exponent based on the iteration model of dislocation multiplication. T he results indicate that there is a relation between the dislocation v elocity exponent and the dislocation multiplication dynamic bifurcatio n with a nonlinear character in the plastic deformation of materials.
