Abstract
Experimental and theoretical investigations of ozone generation in oxy gen plasma below the critical field of breakdown are presented. A cons iderable increase of the ozone concentration in the ''silent'' dischar ge near the threshold of breakdown is found. Numerical calculations su pport experimental results.
