Abstract
A simplified and knifeless technique for otoplasty is presented. Corre ction of the prominent ear is easily achieved by subcutaneous and tran scartilaginous nonabsorbable permanent sutures after cartilage resilie nce is weakened by needle scoring. This technique was very successful in 11 consecutive cases with up to 30 months of followup.
