Abstract
This paper examines questions of calculating the detection characteris tics in synthetic-aperture radars (SAR) for different ratios between t he coherent and noncoherent storage; this paper also shows the relatio nship between this problem and the simpler problem of detection for a mixed coherent-noncoherent summing of the packet pulses.
