Abstract
A model of the seawater fluorescence vertical stratification formation J(phi)(z) is proposed. It allows to explain the Increasing of J(phi) with depth on the levels located below the euphotic zone. The influenc e of different hydrophysical characteristics on the J(phi)(z) dependen ce is considered.
