Abstract
During Achema '94 visitors were invited to attend a number of panel di scussions. One of these addressed the subject of Europe as a location for the chemical industry. The highly topical nature of this subject m atter and the consequences for each one of us if the attractiveness of Europe for the chemical industry continues to wane were reasons enoug h for Chemie Ingenieur Technik to publish the main content of this dis cussion.
