Abstract
A method has been developed for quantitative X-ray diffraction analysi s of the main primary minerals. It is oriented primarily toward invest igation of soils on loesses and loesslike rocks. Procedures are descri bed for preparing soils and rocks for analysis, determining correction coefficients, and the technique of sampling and calculations. The met hod is distinguished by fairly high reproducibility and speed.
