Vs. Gorbatov et al., LATERAL VARIATION IN THE CONCENTRATION OF CHLORSULFURON RESIDUES IN ASOD-PODZOLIC SOIL, Eurasian soil science, 26(11), 1994, pp. 107-112
Lateral variations in the concentration of chlorsulfuron in a Sod-Podz
olic soil were studied. The distribution of chlorsulfuron in the soil
was found to follow the normal distribution. It is demonstrated that t
he lateral distribution of residual amounts of a herbicide in the soil
can be used to determine the level of error that is required in mathe
matical models used to evaluate the degradation of the herbicide, and
in planning the number of samples required and the number of parallel
determinations in each sample.
