Gb. Appetecchi et al., KINETICS AND STABILITY OF THE LITHIUM ELECTRODE IN POLY(METHYLMETHACRYLATE)-BASED GEL ELECTROLYTES, Electrochimica acta, 40(8), 1995, pp. 991-997
The transport and electrochemical properties of gel-type ionic conduct
ing membranes formed by immobilizing liquid solutions of lithium salts
in a poly(methylmethacrylate) matrix have been determined. In particu
lar, the conductivity, the lithium ion transference number and the ele
ctrochemical stability window are evaluated and discussed. Finally, pa
rticular attention is devoted to the phenomena occuring at the interfa
ce between these ionic membranes and the lithium metal electrode.
