Abstract
The analytical expressions are obtained for the transverse profiles of the velocity distribution in the boundary layers of separated phases when monodisperse emulsions are separated. The equations to determine the thickness of the boundary layers are set up. The general pattern o f phase flows in the interplate clearances of a separator is studied.
