Vn. Antipov et al., A SELECTOR OF LOW-VELOCITY TARGETS MOVING AGAINST AN UNDERLYING SURFACE BACKGROUND, Telecommunications & radio engineering, 48(7), 1993, pp. 104-110
Optimum and quasioptimum algorithms for selecting low-velocity targets
moving against the underlying surface background are synthesized. The
detection characteristics are analyzed and it is shown that by using
a processing system employing a single-beam azimuth-scanning antenna i
t is possible, through the use of a temporal weighting, to reduce the
minimum detectable radial velocity of the target to a few meters/s.
