Abstract
The possibility of using a sounding signal formed by the successive ra diation of pulses by the different elements of a transmitting phased a ntenna array (PAA) is considered. The reception scheme corresponding t o such a signal and the detection characteristics in the case when its coherence is partially destroyed are investigated.
