Gs. Nakhmanson, SPACE-TIME PROCESSING OF BROAD-BAND SIGNALS REFLECTED FROM MOVING TARGETS IN COHERENT MULTIPOSITION MEASURING SYSTEMS, Telecommunications & radio engineering, 48(7), 1993, pp. 118-127
The optimum space-time processing of broadband signals reflected from
moving targets in coherent multiposition measuring systems for finding
targets not only in the far zone but also in the Fresnel zone of the
system is considered. The possibility of using information on the tran
sformation of the time scales of the signal envelopes to increase the
resolution and the accuracy with which the coordinates and parameters
of motion of the targets can be estimated is analyzed. The new analyti
cal results contain, as special cases, the well-known relations defini
ng the resolution and accuracy characteristics of the estimated parame
ters in the system when not only narrow-band but also broadband signal
s are used.
