The energy dependence of the Be-selfsputtering yield in the energy ran
ge of 1.5-10 keV was measured. The yield of Be-sputtering by Be+-ions
attains its maximal value at the ion energy of 1.5 keV, being equal to
0.31 +/- 0.02 atoms/ion; at the further increase in the energy the yi
eld monotonously decreases. The temperature dependence of the sputteri
ng yield of C-C composite with H+ ions are given. Results from disrupt
ion simulation experiments are described in which C-C composite specim
ens were exposed to 0.5-1.0 MJ m(-2) energy deposition during 50 mu s
from hydrogen plasma with a density of similar to 10(15) cm(-3). The m
icrostructure of redeposited layers, deposits morphology and the depos
its size distribution were studied by the methods of transmission and
scanning electron microscopy.
