Abstract
The kinetics of the supercritical oxidation of hydrogen, carbon monoxi de, and methane was modeled using a detailed chemical kinetic reaction mechanism initially validated for the combustion of these fuels and o f natural gas in the gas phase. The concentration profiles of reactant s and products measured at MIT in a plug flow reactor have been used t o validate a detailed kinetic reaction mechanism in supercritical cond itions.
