Abstract
Coherent fiber bundles with 1000 and 4000 pixels made from glass-clad
chalcogenide fiber were prepared. Their transmittance reached 40% in t
he spectral region 3-5 mu m. Coupling this imageguide to an infrared T
V system, the thermal image of a character 'A' delivered through the b
undle has been detected.
