A case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma presenting with polyuria, enlarged ki
dneys, and renal insufficiency is reported. The diagnosis was made by
percutaneous needle biopsy of the kidney. Renal failure reversed and t
he kidneys regressed in size on exhibition of the first cycle of chemo
therapy. The rarity of polyuria at presentation, the role of renal bio
psy in the diagnosis, and the response of renal failure to specific ch
emotherapy are discussed.
