Abstract
We study the properties of nonrelativistic models of b ($) over bar b quarkonia. We want to check if the present data can be reproduced by s uch a model within the experimental errors. A general formula includin g as special cases many existing models is introduced. The properties of a family of models are investigated. We find a new potential in the form of a root r-b/r+A, which is agreed with data.
