Abstract
Research on neural transplantation has great potential societal import ance in part because of the expanding proportion of the population tha t is elderly. Transplantation studies can benefit from the guidance of research on cognitive aging, especially in connection with the assess ment of behavioral outcomes. Speech for example, might be explored usi ng avian models.
