Abstract
Adsorption by porous carbon from associated binary aqueous solutions i s analysed by application of a pore-filled mechanism. The isotherm par ameters, obtained by this mechanism, together with binary bulk enthalp y of mixing data, are used to calculate enthalpies of immersion which are compared with measured enthalpies of immersion.
