Abstract
Binuclear ruthenium (II) complexes of the type [RuCl(EPh(3))(2) (beta dk)](2) (where E=P or As: beta dk=beta-diketonate) have been synthesiz ed from the reactions of fluorinated beta-diketones with [RuCl2(PPh(3) )(2)](n) and [RuCl2(AsPh(3))(2)](2). These complexes have been charact erized by elemental analyses, IR, (1)HNMR and electronic spectral data and an octahedral structure has been proposed for all the complexes.
