E. Elshafee et Ri. Nessim, THE DIELECTRIC BEHAVIOR OF TEMPERATURE-INDUCED CROSS-LINKING OF CR(III)-DOPED POLY(VINYL ALCOHOL), Polymer degradation and stability, 48(1), 1995, pp. 67-69
Poly(vinyl alcohol) films, crosslinked by doping with potassium dichro
mate and heat treatment, have been investigated dielectrically as a fu
nction of curing temperature and curing time. It was found that increa
se of either curing time or curing temperature lowers the charge carri
er mobility and hence increases the charge-storage capacity of the fil
ms. This is ascribed to complex formation, which gives rise to enhance
d blacking of the segmental motion.
