Abstract
The nonlinearity in discrete nonlinear systems of the block-oriented f orm is estimated. In particular, memoryless, cascade and parallel mode ls are examined. Algorithms being in the form of the ratio of two Lagu erre polynomials are proposed, and their asymptotic properties are est ablished. The conditions for the pointwise and global consistency are found. The identification algorithms are consistent for a large class of nonlinear characteristics which cannot be parametrized.
