Abstract
A high-T-c YBa1.5Ca0.5Cu3O6+delta superconductor was synthesized, with the critical temperature T-c = 84.9 K. The crystalline structure is o rthorhombic with the lattice parameters a = 3.8665 Angstrom, b = 3.921 7 Angstrom and c = 11.7652 Angstrom, characteristic for the 123 superc onductors. The diamagnetic transition in the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility strongly depends on the recycling of the samples and the onset of superconductibility is depressed by the magne tic field intensity.
