Abstract
The emission of nucleons from a hot, deformed and rotating nucleus is treated within the Thomas-Fermi approximation. We study in particular the dependence of the transmission coefficient on the deformation and the rotational frequency of the emitting nucleus. A tractable form of the transmission coefficient is given.
