Abstract
The demon method is applied to determine effective actions on blocked SU(3) gauge configurations. Fist the method is tested on SU(3) gauge c onfigurations with known couplings. It turns out that the demon method works effectively to determine couplings. Next the method is implemen ted on blocked SU(3) gauge configurations and we obtain a set of renor malized couplings.
